Robu was shot on location in Tokyo, and stars the Emmy-award winning actor Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight, When They See Us).
The film, which follows the protagonist’s journey through Tokyo to discover a mythical comic book left to him by his father, premiered on DUST, the leading distributor of science fiction content. The reception has been phenomenal.
Robu was an official selection at the Austin Film Festival, the Napa Film Festival, the Hollyshorts film festival, among others, and was given Best Film Award at Tokyo’s leading ShortShorts film festival.
