This past week, the Portal A team volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to help finish construction on a house for a single mother and her child. We cleaned, gardened, and spackeled the day away. A house was built, and memories were made.

Jessica Schiffman hails from the sunny beaches of San Diego where she grew up eating burritos and riding epic waves…on her boogie board.

Her love of all things video began in high school, where she spent her spare time filming and editing hilarious spots from an eHarmony commercial parody to her very own True Life series (available upon request).

When she isn’t identifying the next big digital media trend, she’s scheming for ways to score another trip to visit her family in Rio de Janeiro or exploring another corner of her new favorite city, San Francisco.
