Here at Portal A, we’re in the midst of drafting a handful of proposals to get financing (paiiid) for new content we plan to produce over the next couple months. Figuring out how to present our company in a way that makes us attractive to companies while still allowing us to retain our sense of humor (and dignity) is a difficult challenge. For example, ending a proposal with “I will do anything except highly specific fetish porn, which I will also probably do,” comes off as desperate, experts say. I’ve also learned that “We ghostride things,” is not a good opening gambit for many reasons, including the fact that it’s quite nebulous.
But here’s a guy who knows how to market himself while still keeping it real. Ian, if you’re out there, we’d like to hire you. Does that sound desperate? I don’t even know any more…
